Bio
Lauren was born and raised in
Arizona, where she began singing and dancing at the age of five and
choreographing and teaching by the age of 15. After enjoying a great
performing arts experience at Horizon High School in Phoenix, Lauren
landed a full ride performance scholarship at Arizona State University
where she received her bachelor's degree in Musical Theater and was
recognized as the "Outstanding Graduate" by ASU's College of Fine Arts.
During college, Lauren honed her craft by choreographing for multiple high
schools, junior high schools, theater companies, and summer programs as
well as performing in many University and Professional musical theater
productions. She has been recognized for her work as an actress and
choreographer by multiple "ariZoni" award nominations. After graduating
from ASU, Lauren moved to New York City to pursue her passion for teaching
and performing. While keeping busy doing shows, touring, and television
work, Lauren also works as a Director and Choreographer for TADA Youth
Theater in Manhattan, and choreographs for schools and theater
companies all over NYC and Arizona. In the Spring of 2008, Lauren will be
working in Arizona as the choreographer of Arizona State University's
production of “Urinetown” as well as choreographing and teaching for other
theater companies and schools in the Phoenix area.
