suggestions and a few rules that will make the day go smoothly and will make
the whole performance experience a great one for you and your child!

DRESS REHEARSAL
and SHOW reminders
Dress Rehearsals are the day of the concert, Saturday,
May 17th at Scottsdale
Center for the Arts and they
are MANDATORY!!! For
rehearsal and the show, performers will enter the auditorium through
the side door. As you face the main entrance to
the auditorium walk to your right and
enter where the sign is posted. Please check the
schedule for your child's rehearsal time
and show call time. We are on a are very
tight schedule so please be prompt!
For the Dress Rehearsals Please come in
full costume and make up. Parents will not be allowed in the
house during rehearsal...they can wait in the
lobby! Kids stay only during their rehearsal
time. Please do not leave them all day. Our insurance will not cover them
and the Civic Center does not want unescorted kids in the facility.
For their show the kids
must be at the theatre
in full
costume and make up
at their call time listed
on the schedule. Deliver the performers as instructed above. Remember,
performers ONLY will enter the theatre. NO
PARENTS will be allowed back stage at all or in
the theatre before the house opens approximately
one half hour before show time! Every seat in the house is an excellent
seat...that's why we rent this facility!
Please be patient and courteous while waiting to be seated.
We ask that you do not
save seats after 15 minutes before curtain!
We DO require a ticket for babies and
toddlers because, frankly, we discourage their attendance! Your kids work so
very hard to get ready for this performance it would be a shame to have
their "moment" ruined by a fussy baby or a rowdy toddler. What you may
think is "talking" or "singing along" is disturbing to all those around
you and to the performers. Please be considerate to our young performers and
get a baby-sitter for just this one event!
NO performers will be released until the
entire concert is over!
NO PARENTS WILL BE ALLOWED BACKSTAGE OR IN THE DRESSING ROOMS!
MAKE UP
All the girls need base or pancake make-up, lots of rouge and RED lipstick A
bit of eye make up is a good idea. Boys should
use cheek and lip color.
Please keep hair off the face!! Any hats need to securely fastened on
with bobby pins!
